Word of God – Faith in God – Work with God

“God is no respecter of persons: but in every nation he that fears God and works righteousness, is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:34-35).

We who are in Christ are “born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever” (1Peter 1:23). “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but God’s Words shall never pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“He that receives seed into good ground is he that hears the Word, and understands it; which also bears fruit, and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty” (Matthew 13:23). The Word of God therefore is potent, but how do you receive, handle and give place to God’s Word to work in and through you to manifest the supernatural blessings God has promised?
“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:12-13).
When the Word of God abides in us, it makes us STRONG and able to OVERCOME the wickedness of the age in which we live (1John 2:14).
The seed of God’s Word is good, but what is the condition of your heart, that is the soil, wherein you receive it? (Matthew 13; Mark 4) Do you receive the Word of God with faith, expectation and a readiness to be a doer and put feet to your faith? (James 2:26)
You must work with God as a doer of His Word in obedience with childlike faith to set miracles in motion, surpass your present condition to experience growth and transformation.

If you neglect the condition of your heart and fail to receive God’s Word with faith, expectation and a readiness to be a doer of the Word, putting feet to your faith; then the Word will not profit you to the extent it could if you happily received it with expectation, cooperated with God and co-labored with Him as a doer of the Word to work out what God is working in you through His transformative Word. Is your heart an obstacle to the entrance of the Word of God, or a joyful receiver, catalyst, facilitator, doer and overcomer? The preacher of the Word is not the problem, but the receiver. Lift up your eyes unto Jesus (Isaiah 40:26; John 4:35) where your help comes from in heaven and be a doer of the Word. Stop making excuses for the condition of your heart, the pollution therein and your unwillingness to obey and be a doer of God’s Word.
An evil heart of unbelief and a lack of faith on your part can hinder the extent to which God’s Word will profit your life (Hebrews 4:2). “Without faith it is impossible to please God: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).
“Be doers of God’s Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of God’s Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was. But whosoever looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:22-25).
