Clean Heart – Prayer and Repentance
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your Presence. Do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of my salvation and renew a right spirit within me. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto You” (Psalm 51:10-13).
The world is full of toxic, polluted and demon possessed people ready to test, try, aggravate and annoy you; hoping you will slip, erupt, unravel and enter their evil, ungodly way of behavior. Daily prayer, repentance, humility, self-examination and cleansing through God’s Word is continually needed to live circumspectly, uprightly and keep yourself unspotted from this vile, contaminated world in which we live.
Jesus said in the world we will have tribulation, but we can be of good cheer as we abide in Christ, wherein is our peace and victory by faith in the Son of God (see Galatians 2:20; John 16:33).
