Overwhelmed but Overcoming

Overwhelmed but Overcoming

Sometimes the pressures of life can make you feel overwhelmed. That is okay and perfectly alright. Just keep going forward no matter how fast or slow. Keep praying, believing and progressing even if at a turtle’s speed. Don’t quit. Don’t give up. Go forward with childlike faith. Maybe your faith is moving faster than you, that too is acceptable. As long as your heart is alive, you can overcome feeling overwhelmed. School teachers and principals are overwhelmed daily with the monumental amount of work they have to do, and that along with managing wild and unruly children and teenagers who often disrespect and disobey them causing mischief on campus.

Nevertheless, despite feeling overwhelmed, maintain your commitment to your vision, purpose, pursuits and end goals. Continue believing you most certainly can be an overcomer who achieves his or her goals. Overwhelmed but overcoming is a way of life for me as an international educator, world traveler dealing sometimes with jet lag, and a father of an energetic child. Overcoming is what we all must do to survive in this world, rather than being undone, or overcome ourselves. Overcoming is something that must become a mindset and way of life for us so when we feel overwhelmed, we do not let that stress or anxiety get in us, though circumstantially temporarily it may try to come upon us. Instead we must maintain childlike faith and remember we are capable to steadily progress through the storms of life, work, relationships, family and multiple responsibilities to consistently be overcoming despite feeling overwhelmed in the process.

Trust and pray to God for resurrection power to keep on trucking through times of uncertainty, tiredness and when you feel overwhelmed so you can continue joyfully overcoming. God bless and be with you my friend.
